By accessing or using our site and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting buildcvforfree.com or using any of our tools (including the Resume Builder to create, preview, and download PDF résumés), you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

We provide an online résumé‐building platform that enables users to:

  1. Fill out a six‐step form, which collects personal information (name, email, phone, address), a career summary, work experience entries, education history, and skills.

  2. Optionally upload a profile photograph for inclusion in the résumé.

  3. Preview how their résumé will appear in one of six built‐in templates (Classic, Modern, Professional, Elegant, American, Minimal).

  4. Generate and download a styled PDF résumé that matches the chosen template.

All résumé data you provide is used solely for the purpose of generating your PDF résumé. Once a résumé has been successfully created and downloaded, we immediately delete all submitted data and images from our servers. No user‐generated content remains stored in our system after the download is complete.

3. User Obligations and Conduct

By using the Site, you agree that you will:

  1. Provide accurate, current, and complete information when filling out forms.

  2. Use the Resume Builder responsibly and refrain from submitting malicious code, inappropriate content, or copyrighted material without permission.

  3. Not attempt to reverse‐engineer, decompile, or otherwise access any non‐public portions of the Site or any underlying systems.

  4. Keep any login credentials (if applicable) secure and confidential; you are solely responsible for any activities that occur under your account.

  5. Not use our service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, and not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the operation of the Site.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in harmful or fraudulent activity.

5. Privacy and Data Deletion

You acknowledge and agree that all résumé data (personal details, uploaded photos, and form inputs) is deleted from our servers immediately after your PDF résumé is successfully created and downloaded. We do not retain or archive your résumé content, and no further copies are kept beyond your local download. 6. Disclaimers and Warranty

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, SERVICES, AND PDF RÉSUMÉS GENERATED THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON‐INFRINGEMENT.

  1. We do not warrant that the Résumé Builder will meet your requirements, that access will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‐free, or that any errors or defects will be corrected.

  2. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or quality of any generated PDF résumé. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing your résumé content before downloading.

  3. We disclaim any responsibility for any decisions you make based on the résumé content (for example, hiring decisions, job applications) or for any damage or loss resulting from your use of the Site.

7. Limitation of Liability
